About This Show

The stage performance of The Only Tribe is an abstract interpretation of the short story by Rebecca Bannor-Addae about social interaction. Masks designed by Roland Gebhardt are used as the feature characters while the performance utilizes dance, music/sound, lighting and projected images, to explore issues of tribal/ societal identity, outside influences/ propaganda, ritualistic and spiritual behavior, segregation, integration, conflict and disintegration.
