New York City
Curated by Dominic D’Andrea The One Minute Play Festival is an informal festival of incredibly short plays. Thirty-four of today’s most exciting playwrights were challenged to write plays with only one rule: it must be under 60 seconds from lights up to lights down.
Curated in the spirit of radical inclusion, The One Minute Play Festival presents an eclectic array of writers with different backgrounds and styles, in a fast-paced and ambitious evening of really quick – and good – work. For both writers and directors the challenge of creating compelling one-minute plays is a daring exercise in immediacy and risk-taking that will be entertaining for audiences and artists alike.
