About This Show

Rabbit Hole Ensemble presents The Night of Nosferatu, adapted from Murnau’s silent horror film classic Nosferatu and Stoker’s Dracula by Stanton Wood. Winner of Best Director in 2007’s Midtown International Theatre Festival.

Using nothing more than their bodies, voices, and a handful of props, six actors tell the story of Jonathan Harker, his wife Mina, and the mysterious Count Nosferatu. A macabre tale of temptation, desire and terror, The Night of Nosferatu is a visually haunting story-theatre adaptation of Murnau’s silent horror film classic Nosferatu and Bram Stoker’s Dracula that explores the seductive nature of darkness.

“Just when you think you’ve seen every possible permutation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, along comes an exciting and elegant version to reinvent the story.” – oobr.com

“…a classy and, yes, often terrifying new stage adaptation…” – Martin Denton, nytheatre.com

“…a worthy successor to Murnau’s film and an original response to it…” – offoffonline.com
