THEATREWORKS/USA, America’s foremost not-for-profit professional theatre for family audiences, presents The Mystery of King Tut. This original musical tells the stories of Tutankhamen, the “boy king” who ruled Egypt in the 14th century BC, and Howard Carter, the archeologist who made him famous by discovering his tomb in 1922. Upon discovering the tomb, Carter begins to unravel the mystery of Tut’s death, uncovering a tale of murder, politics and betrayal.
