The Match GAYme: LIVE!

From the folks who brought you The Golden Girls Live! comes a new
take on the famous game show, The Match GAYme: LIVE!.
The show is a delicious interactive send up of the game show genre and features celebrity impersonators. The 65 minute show is best described as an interactive parody salute to the GAYme Show Network. The work is loosely scripted (by Peter Mac & John Schaefer) but relies heavily on the cast’s Improv abilities. The audience is not left out of the action. In fact contestants are chosen from that evening’s audience. Those chosen to participate receive prizes that include: NYC theater tickets; dinners for two; theatrical memorabilia; and trips (if you consider a metrocard a trip!). At press time the celebrity impersonators include: Peter Mac as Dame Edna; TJ D’Angelo as Totie Fields; John Schaefer as Brett Somers; JB McLendon as Joanne Worley; Shawn Curran as Peter Falk; Chris Morrison as Charles Nelson Reilly; the Match GAYme show is hosted by Richard Guido as Slink Flameburn.
