About This Show

In 1920, Ray Chapman became the only player in the history of Major League Baseball to have been killed by a baseball in a game. Decades later, the ball fell into the hands of a sportswriter who is coaching a high school baseball team. He sent one of his players to his car to grab a ball for fielding practice, but the kid innocently took the Chapman death ball instead. The first time the ball is hit in over fifty years, it went up the third baseline, took an insane hop, and shattered the cheekbone of the third baseman. These are the facts.

The Information She Carried, written by David L. Williams and directed by Ann Carroll, is the story of lifelong conspiracy theorist Sharon North who will not be lied to again! She needs to know the truth behind some of the world’s most notorious cover-ups — including the Challenger explosion, which holds a special place in her heart — and the ball is her way to the truth. Having concocted a theory that the “Chapman Death Ball” was actually the work of the infamous Illuminati and holds unspeakable power, she aims to steal it, and then trade it for the answers she has been seeking. Having arranged a meeting, Sharon begins to realize the truth about where she is and the strange woman speaking to her, and tries desperately to change the way things will turn out, hoping that she still might discover one bit of truth.
