About This Show

The Great Railroad Race is a musical inspired by a slice of American history from the perspective of various immigrants. The show tells the story of the men who migrated to America during the 1800s to build the transcontinental railroad linking East and West, and focuses on the dangers and sacrifices made by a Chinese immigrant, an Irish immigrant, and a runaway slave.
