Some say laughter is the best medicine; others say antibiotics. Whichever the case, The Funny is the guaranteed cure for any comedic ailment. The Funny is New York City’s premiere sketch-comedy competition. From May 5 to June 16, eight of New York’s best sketch-comedy troupes will compete for the honor of being named the King of New York City sketch-comedy. Each team will have the chance to perform their best material in front of a live studio audience. At the end of each night’s competition, it is the audience who decides on which team wins.
