The Chrysalis Stage

Different Light Theatre, in association with The New York International Fringe Festival’s 10th Anniversary, presents The Chrysalis Stage, a captive love… story. The world premiere, written and directed by Cobey Mandarino, stars Jessi Campbell and Timothy Roselle.

Chained and held captive by the seemingly tender Frank, hellcat teenager Shawna will do anything to escape. But as three years die away and a playfully twisted love emerges, Shawna must decide whether this new life is a dream or a nightmare.

Different Light Theatre is devoted to bringing emerging artists together to expose new, uninhibited works that have the power to transform an audience.
