About This Show

The Still Life Theater Company presents their inaugral offering, Still Life: 2 American Portraits. The evening is directed by Kathryn Rossetter. Included on the bill is the following production:

The Canarsie Line, written by Marla Mase
Meet Bev, Syl, Loretta, Larry and Emmie, the quirky members of a family living in 1970’s Canarsie, Brooklyn, who show us that life, though seemingly motionless, is anything but still. Dark, funny with true grit, The Canarsie Line connects interior lives to real life consequences via snapshot-stops along the way. Featuring an ensemble cast, the writing and acting both are a fresh addition to New York?s theater scene.

Also included on the bill is the one-act, About Face
