About This Show

The Bicycle Men return to the New York International Fringe Festival, following their appearance at FringeNYC in 2004, when they received the award for Outstanding Production of the Festival.

The Bicycle Men (that’s the name of the company and the show) is a sublimely silly comedy with music. It tells the story of Steve, a hapless American tourist, who crashes his bicycle and encounters the twisted inhabitants of a sinister French village. The show features Dave Lewman as Steve, and Joe Liss, Mark Nutter, and John Rubano in a variety of character roles, French and otherwise. The script was written by the company; the original songs are by Mark Nutter, who also plays keyboards.
