About This Show

The Below is the name for a renovated basement, at least in the mind of a lonely Renaissance Man who needs an escape. A garden variety eccentric, Jamison inherited a Flatbush Brownstone. Worse, he inherited his Brookynite half-sister, Bunny: a source of humiliation for James and a giant cog in the wheel of his flatlined love life. James has dared to bring home a young French designer who takes videos while James shares his vision. The vision is problematic and the Frenchman reacts strongly when he realizes James is delusional, trying to pack five thematic enclaves into 100 square feet. Bunny, an extreme Broolynite, appears and plants herself – like a hand grenade – smack in the middle of them. A secret explodes out and it isn’t pretty. Will the Frenchman run for the hills, like the rest of James’ ? Or is this time…different?
