About This Show

Sunday on the Rocks, by Brooklyn Playwright Theresa Rebeck, is a humbling and witty dark comedy which follows four women on their inevitable, intimate journeys and illustrates how violence weaves its way into their everyday lives. This production is being presented in anticipation of domestic violence awareness month.

Please note: This play contains strong language and is not appropriate for under 16.

Join us on Tuesday, October 4th, as the Shakespeare’s Sister Company will host a workshop free to the community: a self defense workshop and burlesque class! Please see the Shakespeare’s Sister website for more details. On Wednesday, October 5th, we will have a post-performance talk back. Finally, on November 3rd, the Shakespeare’s Sister Company will host a Gotham Burlesque at Madame X.
