Stakes is High, by Pattydukes, is the story of a young woman sent to a juvenile detention center and encounters a variety of other young woman with their own stories. All they have is time and their explosive emotions. Stakes is High is a painful glimpse at little women lost, trying to find their way. This staged reading is presented as part of the New York City Hip-Hop Theater Festival.
