About This Show

Spider Holes, an evening of original comic sketches and one-act plays – “Three Sketches”, “Tangled Web”, “Coelacanth”, “Perfect Pitch” – written and directed by Frederick Stroppel, features Ray DeJohn, Cindy Keiter, Joanna Keylock, Kevin Kash, Heather Male, and Peter Plano, and is being produced by Two for the Road Productions.

Spider Holes is a dizzyingly funny mix of sketches and one-acts with a sharp satirical edge. The opening sketches – “Proud Parents”, “O Christmas Tree”, and “Rusty Goes To The Vet” -provide a comic overture to an evening that grows increasingly dark and disturbing. “Tangled Web” deals with a computer date gone bizarrely awry. In “Coelacanth”, a woman and her mentally-challenged brother go for a relaxing cruise on a whale-watching boat. “Perfect Pitch” takes a Hollywood meeting between a studio executive and a hungry producer to its lethally logical extreme.
