Silence

Set in the year 1000, and based on historical fact, Silence tells the story of the mismatched marriage of the adolescent Lord Silence and the fiercely independent 30-year-old Princess Ymma. Along with the fearsome tyrant Ethelred the Unready, a French maid, the warrior Eadric Longshaft, and Roger the agoraphobic priest, the newlyweds take the audience on an extraordinary coming of age adventure filled with cross-dressing, adulterous love triangles, telekinesis, and magic mushrooms.
