Shiku Hakku–The Eight Sufferings of Man

La MaMa ETC presents Shigeko Suga and Indalo Artists presentation of SHIKU HAKKU–THE EIGHT SUFFERINGS OF MAN. This evening which bridges performance art and dance theater, draws inspiration from Japanese legends, which are based for free-association in the creation of this work. The production will include Flamenco and Butoh dance, percussion, all in the Buddhist point of view with a touch of comedy.
