Safety is the dark and compelling story of Michael, a war photographer renowned for his iconic global images in the late 20th century. When a stranger saves Michael’s young daughter from drowning, he is forced to reevaluate his roles as journalist, husband and father. Sometimes proximity to inhumanity requires a surrendering of one’s own humanity in the long term. It is the process that Safety sets out to investigate.
