Rockaway Boulevard

Playwright Richard Vetere and Director Charles Messina, the creative battery behind the upcoming Broadway musical Be My Love, about the tragic life of tenor Mario Lanza, are teaming up once again for a limited
engagement of Vetere’s quintessential New York play Rockaway Boulevard.

Rockaway Boulevard is a gritty drama about a working class couple from Queens whose past comes back to haunt them in the person of a shady childhood friend. The play was originally developed at The Actor’s Studio in 1978 and went on to enjoy two successful Off-Broadway runs in the 1980’s.
