Rising Sun, Falling Star

The Latino male stereotype is put through a three-dimensional prism in Yolanda Rodriguez’s Rising Sun, Falling Star. In order to change their societally predetermined fates, three brothers have to look at themselves as Latino men and discover if they are capable of exploding their molds in order to rise above the drugs and poverty around them.
