Red Death

Clubbed Thumb kicks off its Summerworks festival of new plays with Red Death by Lisa D’Amour. Jane Withers, former kindergarten teacher and certified lifeguard, crosses the earth hunting down a powerful magnate, his cosmopolitan wife, and their jaded daughter at the behest of a mysterious “panel” in this 21st century riff on Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Masque of Red Death.”

There are additional performances on Monday, May 20; Wednesday, May 22; and Thursday, May 23 at 8:00pm.
