About This Show

Based on the research of sociologist Dr. Joy DeGruy-Leary, Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome seeks to break down destructive victim-perpetrator dynamics and open new channels of communication between people of different races as a means of healing the wounds of slavery. The play was developed by Kamal Sinclair Steele and Universal Arts through the Fractured Atlas Residency Program. Directed by Obie Award-winner Robbie McCauley.
