Pornographic Angel

Pornographic Angel is an original theatre production based on short stories by Nelson Rodrigues, Brazil’s most acclaimed playwright. Hailed by The New York Times as "the Giant of Brazilian theatre," in the 1950s/60s Rodrigues wrote fiction inspired by the dark side of Brazil’s middle class for the newspaper column "Life As It Is." Pornographic Angel brings Rodrigues’ eerie short stories to American audiences today through physical theatre, video, and music.
