Six People. Six Lies. One Internet. ATM Productions presents Nobody Knows I’m a Dog, written & directed by Alan David Perkins.
This 1996 award-winning play examines the lives of six people whose false personas and unrealized dreams are played out in the electronic world of Usenet Singles Newsgroups, E-mail and Internet Relay Chat. Though the medium?s anonymity gives them the courage to socialize, it?s also a place where they?re undone by the fantasy personas they?ve manufactured to pursue relationships in cyberspace. Eventually, their true selves are revealed. Once exposed, each must deal with the consequences of their deception.
