About This Show

WritersBloc Productions presents the world premiere of Alec Gutherz’s No Entrance, directed by Sue Lawless.

The play examines the consequences of the choices people make. These choices affect the dynamics within a family as well as their interactions in the larger world. Through a confluence of learned behavioral patterns, each character struggles with their own obligations, responsibilities and desires. This struggle manifests itself in the concept of duty; the duty of a mother, a wife, a soldier, a Catholic, a husband, a sister, a son. And only when this
concept is challenged does the emotional core of each character become exposed.
