About the Show
One of Western Canada’s dance companies to watch, Vancouver’s Move: The Company presents its U.S. premiere with Trap Door Party, created by Artistic Director Josh Beamish. Blending traditional influences of court dancing and classical ballet, with a contemporary approach, this piece is an abstract narrative look at six individuals, as they leave behind all they know to create a utopian society. Music consists of orchestral covers of classic electronic songs.
