About This Show

Acclaimed actress, singer and renowned teacher Elizabeth (Betsy) Parrish offers Moments of Being, with Betsy. This evening of songs and tid-bits of poetry celebrates the meaning and the wonder of life with tunes familiar and not so familiar that explore moments of being. With cabaret veteran Music Director Paul Trueblood at the piano, Ms. Parrish kicks-off the show with a note of optimism with the Johnny Mercer/Harold Arlen classic “Accent-tchu-ate the Positive.” Other memorable renditions include “Dear Friend” by Sheldon Harnick and Jerry Bock, “The Bus from Amarillo” by Carol Hall and “I Don’t Remember Christmas” by Richard Malby Jr. and David Shire. The production is staged by Sally Darling.
