About This Show

Directed by Keith Oncale and performed by Annmarie Benedict, Mind the Gap delves into the thoughts of a variety of people affected by the destruction of the World Trade Center. Among them are a religious woman from Minnesota, a street person from the Bronx, a New York architect, an elderly person from France, two American-Hindu women, and a woman and her six-month old daughter – each of whom have very different perspectives upon seeing the Ground Zero site. Throughout the story, one theme is constant, the need to understand – and through that understanding, to hopefully begin to find some peace. This performance is part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival.
