Maggie’s Daughters

Maggie’s Daughters is set in a Boston suburb, in the late 1990’s. Lucia is newly separated from her husband and has returned from New Mexico to her late mother’s home (the Maggie of the title), which is now owned and occupied by Lucia’s older sister Anna and Anna’s college-age daughter Teresa. Lucia and Anna have not seen each other or spoken since their mother died, which was 10 years earlier. Both have become successful in that time (Anna in the catering business, Lucia as a painter), but they are at awkward places in their lives. It all adds up to a complicated slice of life, depicting an Italian-American family?s struggling to live their lives at the end of the 20th century.

There will be no performance on Thanksgiving Day, 11/28. There is an added performance on Monday, December 2 at 7:30pm.
