Macbeth (ISC)

The Independent Shakespeare Company (ISC) presents the Shakespearean tragedy Macbeth in association with The Present Company. David Melville (Macbeth) and Mellisa Chalsma (Lady Macbeth) founders of ISC, met while they were both performing the Broadway production of Hamlet with Ralph Fiennes. ISC’s version explores Shakespeare’s most chilling portrayal of the darkness that lurks so closely to all of us, and how that darkness seems to be so magnetically attractive to humanity. The production is comprised of seven actors, eight chairs and an ample supply of stage blood.
