Love’s Labour’s Lost

Director Kit Thacker gives Shakespeare’s story a contemporary twist, in which the traditional male parts are made female and vice versa in order to explore the realm of modern relationships. Four very stylish but very different female friends make a pact to give up men and focus on their studies, only to be swept off their feet by four strapping young men. It’s a modern tale, written 400 years ago. The gender reversal in this version of Love’s Labour’s Lost brings the play’s story of joy, friendship, sex and love into the 21st century.
