About This Show

Written by Marc Meyers and directed by Beth Manspeizer, Love & Sex consists of four men and four women each sharing their “tales from the trenches” as
they search for romance in the streets and townships of New York City.

The monologues include “Coney Island Dog,” which details the confessions of an upper-class sex addict; “A Beautiful Story,” about the synchronicity between two strangers who notice each other on the subway and a week later find one another on the sidewalk; “The Ex-Girlfriend,” concerning a woman dying of cancer while her ex-boyfriend deals with his guilt for leaving and his fears that by returning to her bedside he will make things worse; “Hotel Sheets,” the story of a wild search for a dog named God during Mardi Gras; and much, much more!
