About This Show

Restoration London 1682: the first professional English woman writer tells her live-in lover to take a hike. In addition to adapting Behn’s own words from some of her seventeen plays, hundreds of poems and several novels, Karen Eterovich uses passages from Shakespeare, Pierre de Ronsard and Giambattista Marino to highlight Aphra Behn’s trilingualism in her one-woman show, Love Arm’d, Aphra Behn & Her Pen.
