About This Show

Little Egypt is a pitiful tale about three women in the small town of Cairo, Illinois searching for meaning in their meaningless lives. The Waltz’s are a not-so-proud family of women who live in the facade of their high school successes though long graduated. Mom and her eldest daughter are former prom queens and the youngest daughter, also very pretty, was the brain, though she is cursed with her family’s complacency. Now, far from their glory days, they count the change from their shifts at the local IHOP as they search for love in the oddest places, all the while failing to truly love themselves.
