New York City
Mass Transit Street Theater presents Lessons by Jerry Cofta. The play, directed by Ted Hannan, explores central conflicts in today’s society through the prism of a South Bronx classroom. It presents a teacher and a student, old and young, white and black, locked (metaphorically) in a classroom, each wanting to get out, each desperately needing to stay.
Final performance: December 17, 2023
