About This Show

The Staten Island Philharmonic Orchestra will present a concert production of the classic Cole Porter musical Kiss Me, Kate. The sassy, sexy musical proves that the battle of the sexes hasn’t changed much in the past 500 years. As actors prepare a production of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew, they find that their off-stage problems threaten to bring down the curtain on the entire show. The score includes the hit songs “Too Darn Hot,” “Why Can’t You Behave?,” “So In Love,” and “Brush Up Your Shakespeare.”
