King Lear (Pulse Ensemble)

Pulse Ensemble’s artistic director, Alexa Kelly, directs King Lear. This production of Shakespeare’s tragedy is set in New York City in the 1950’s. It’s John Gotti meets King Lear, as our Mafia Don makes the mistake of his career when he divides his Territory between his two daughters Goneril and Regan, and expects to still retain all the trappings of a “King”. Ed Schiff plays the title role.
