About This Show

Kallie is an exploration of memory wrapped in a pitch-black comedy about delusion, reality–and Groucho Marx. It is the tale of a young woman who rebels against her abuser, rebels against the drugs that have kept her in check, and rebels against the memories of her own past. After a particularly vicious argument with her boyfriend, Kallie flees and embarks on an hallucinatory train trip to reach her Dad and escape her inner demons. Along the way, she struggles with deviations from reality that are sometimes disconcerting, sometimes insane, and sometimes insanely funny.
Darkly surreal –and deeply comic — Kallie is the story of one woman’s journey from madness to love.
