India Dreaming

Indian film star, Lillete Dubey, stars in a workshop production of India Dreaming, written by Anne Marie Cummings. The play is a cross cultural love story focusing on an Indian man and a Spanish-American woman’s struggle to overcome their differences and maintain their relationship. The play explores the power and function of tradition while taking on the ideas of cultural difference, community, assimilation, and romance. Leigh Fondakowski directs.

India Dreaming was first performed as a benefit for SAAAID’s, (South Asia Against AIDS Foundation, Inc.).
