About This Show

With Homeland Security: Bringing Dr. King Up to Date, one of the greatest American dancers of our time introduces one of the greatest Americans of all time to a post-9/11 America. Directed and choreographed by Desmond Richardson, the experimental work mixes dance, music, text, photography and video and features young All Stars performers. Homeland Security questions assumptions about the nature of a “homeland” and examines what security means in the lives of young people today.

In addition to the regular schedule, a performance is arranged for Thursday, March 29 at 7:30pm.
