About the Show

After a successful tour of all five boroughs during summer 2002, Heroes, a delightful tale of adventure and friendship comes to TADA!’s mainstage. When the sun disappears, 6 possible heroes must embark on a quest to bring it back. Sent on their adventures by “the woman of great magic” they pass difficult tests, learn life lessons and eventually work together to bring back the sun. Through movement, words and song, the story unfolds into a tale of friendship and heroism. The production features a book by Tom Keegan and Davidson Lloyd, with music and lyrics by Tammy Holder. Performing in all roles will be New York City kids ages 8-18, many of whom are members of TADA!’s Resident Youth Ensemble.

There is an additional performance on Thursday, April 24 at 7 p.m.; There are also performances Friday, May 9 at 10 a.m. and Noon for school groups.

There are discount rates for schools and non-profit groups. This show is recommended for ages 3 and up.
