About This Show

The 7th Sign and Jeffrey Schulman Productions present Kurt Vonnegut Jr’s biting satire, Happy Birthday, Wanda June, directed by Rachel Chavkin.

As relevant now as it was in the 70’s, the play calls into question what it means to be a hero, a patriot, a healer, and a human. Lines are drawn between a war-hero and a man of peace and even the dead are interested in what happens. Vonnegut’s sharp wit and enduring humanism shine through in this moralistic satire.
