Godspell

Amas Musical Theatre presents The Rosetta LeNoire Musical Theatre Academy production of the hit Stephen Schwartz musical Godspell. Set in an abandoned warehouse, this newly conceived production strips the story down to its essence. It is a modern and honest take of Jesus and his followers as they forge a new community in a diverse and conflicted world. Directed by Christopher Scott and choreographed by Monica Johnson (The Broadway Kids), Godspell will be presented over two consecutive weekends for eight performances only.

The show features a sparkling score of well-loved songs including the international hit “Day By Day,” “All Good Gifts” and “Turn Back, O Man.” Godspell brings to life the humanity and compassion of the parables of Jesus with the timeless message of brotherhood and peace.
