The genre-smashing, boundary-breaking “hip-hop travelogue of peace” From Tel Aviv to Ramallah: A Beatbox Journey is a collaboration between a Jewish “human beatbox,” the religion scholar who happens to be his wife, and a Muslim video artist.

Inspired by “ordinary people”encountered by actor and beatbox Yuri Lane and wife Rachel Havrelock on a journey from Tel Aviv to Ramallah at the beginning of the Intifada, the play brings to life 15 unforgettable characters — each materializing as a three-dimensional person with an individual soundtrack over the course of 60 minutes.
