Turtle Shell Productions presents the world premiere of the new musical Fritz & Froyim by Norman Beim with music by award-winning composers Mark Barkan and Rolf Barnes directs.
Set in Germany after World War II, Fritz & Froyim tells the story of Fritz, a former Nazi SS officer, who is haunted by Froyim, the ghost of a Jewish comedian whose presence is wreaking havoc with his job, marriage, and sanity. Singing, dancing, electric shock treatments, and exorcisms ensue in this innovative musical with Brechtian undertones as Fritz attempts to rid himself of Froyim. Can Fritz ultimately come to terms with his past by making peace with the ghost inside himself?
