Fragile

Jill Sigman’s Fragile is a dance-theater work, set to music by French chanteuse Edith Piaf. It involves a hundred drinking glasses and innumerable pink roses, using visual metaphor to depict faded hopes, post-communist disillusionment, the fragility of identity, and the difficulty of finding a voice.
