Festival of ‘Wrights

Makor presents established, non-established and semi-established writers and performers in its second Festival of ‘Wrights. The theater festival showcases short plays, monologues and performance art by new talent, presenting new work and works in progress. This winter’s installment brings theater stars (high and low, big and small) to Makor’s intimate café on eight consecutive Sundays in December and January. VANESSA HIDARY, LAURA SHAINE CUNNINGHAM, MARTHA PLIMPTON and ANTHONY RAPP, among others, perform a variety of plays, poetry, monologues and musical theater. Discussions with the playwrights and performers follow the performances each night.
