Working Stiff Productions presents Entertaining Mr. Sloane, the controversial play written by Joe Orton that is a blend of wit, sex and black comedy.
The play unfolds as Kath, a middle age woman, picks up the young Mr. Sloane and invites him to become her lodger. The charming, naughty and attractive Mr. Sloane allows Kath to seduce him whilst her brother, Ed, lusting after Mr. Sloane himself gives him a job as a chauffeur. Having wrapped the two siblings around his finger, Mr. Sloane sets about living a luxury life until Dadda, the father of the two taken in siblings, exposes Mr. Sloane’s past causing violent and surprising consequences.
Opening Night, on Thurs. Sept. 9 begins at 7:00pm. There are additional matinee performances on Sun., Sept. 12 & 19 at 3:00pm.
