About This Show

Lang’s work on photography paper, utilizes the unpredictable movements of acrylic, India and Sumi ink. These paintings are inspired by the ancient techniques of Far East Suminagashi masters. There is a duality to the title, Inlets, where two bodies of water meet. Their interactions will have a great influence on the land and life around them. The message of each work is influenced and determined as inks interact on paper, and with the viewer. The intention is to invoke unique feeling and emotion which is authentic to each viewer, and unbiased.
