Lightning Strikes Theatre Company presents Durang by the Dozen: No Guns, No Sofas as part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival. These 12 one-acts are some of the shortest works by Christopher Durang, and are being presented to mark the company’s 10th anniversary. The shows being presented are Business Lunch at The Russian Tea Room, Canker Sores and Other Distractions, Desire, Desire, Desire, Entertaining Mr. Helms, Funeral Parlor, The Hardy Boys and the Mystery of Where Babies Come From, John & Mary Doe, Kitty the Waitress, Medea (co-written with Wendy Wasserstein), Mrs. Sorken, 1-900-Desperate, and Woman Stand-Up.
